Getting Rid Of The Noisy Inbox

Welcome to Day 2 of our 30 Day Challenge!

Today I want you to go to the one place I spend my day trying to avoid, and I’ll bet you do too.

If you’re like me, mindlessly refreshing your email inbox instead of working can be addictive… it’s like gambling. The occasional payoff of a satisfying friendly email, online enrolment or epic discount offer is enough to keep us coming back over and over!

Today, on Day 2 of our 30 Day Challenge, I give you permission to stop reading things that don’t matter enough.

Note, I didn’t say they’ll never matter. But they don’t right now, and for the next 30 days you’re creating breathing room- then taking action.

Your challenge for Day 2:

Visit and roll up every single service that isn’t crucial to have arriving in your inbox in real time.

(tip: on average that is very very few,if any.)

It will roll them up and serve you a summary one per day or week.

I can guarantee you that soon, like me, you won’t even bother reading the summaries! And it’s a perfect way to break the habit of incessantly checking.

I give you full permission to reduce the noise.

See you tomorrow,

Stay sparkly!

P.S. feel free to share in your groups and encourage your team to join us! They can jump in at any time during the 30 days.

  1. OMG HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS???!?!?! Ive been manually unsubscribing from HUNDREDS of lists the past 2 months- I just solved it ALL in about 2 minutes!!!!!!

Will share this service til the cows come home- THANK YOU!!!

  2. Unsubscribe – CHECK!
Went one step further and cleaned my inbox – over 1300 emails that I ‘might read one day’ or ‘might be of some importance’ that I was ‘going to get around to sorting’ – deleted – gone!

  3. My junk gets a little overwhelming.. inbox is manageable! But there are still some ones I can unsubscribe from.. I usually only check my emails 2-3 times a day. So not too noisy! 🙂

  4. Says my limit alreDy maxed out lol. I tried to share to keep going but it doesn’t like me yet. I’ll keep trying. Didn’t realise how much advertising etc I get in my inbox.

  5. How on earth did I not know about this?! I’ve been avoiding this task for the longest..there’s over 8k emails in my inbox right now
